We don't get sparrows in our garden anymore and have never seen a Dunnock! Great shot Richard.

It definitely looks the same as my dunnock, Richard. It's a beautiful shot and a fav for me! (I think these birds are more the fat robin shape than a sparrow shape.)

Richard, I found that a dunnock is another name for a hedge sparrow (a house sparrow is apparently just a house sparrow!) Lovely shot of a dunnock here http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/life/Dunnock
