My time is up...the door is closing...I've come to the end of my year. It's very strange to hit a milestone that you're sad to reach but my 365th day of posting mainly phone-cam pix (my personal challenge) has arrived.
It's been fabulous to work with you all, swapping comments, enjoying a rapport with 'strangers' - although none of you are that, of course - and I've always looked forward to seeing your work.
I don't intend this to be goodbye. Like others who have 'done their time' I hope to pop back in from time to time. Thought I'd better keep a check on you all...make sure you're all behaving yourselves.
I had no idea what I'd post as a final picture until I saw this scene in Brisbane today. Out came the phone cam for this last shot, rather like John Wayne riding into the sunset. But he came back time and again - so I'll just have to do the same.....

Congratulations for completing your 365 project! I have truly enjoyed your photographs! They are such excellent examples to me of what photography is and have encouraged me greatly artistically! :)

Au revoir meaning, of course, that it's not goodbye, although I felt quite sad about wrapping up the year and saying goodbye to the friends of made on this site. It's been like saying farewell for the time being to a family. Perhaps next time I'll use a 'normal' camera, but it's been fun using a phone cam for most of the year.

Hi, Richard. I took a vacation and break from 365 and missed your last photo. I've really enjoyed your photos--they opened up new worlds for me, like North Korea. Looking forward to seeing more!
