Found this one in my front yard this morning. No idea where it came from, but helped it get on back into the woods. Really likes to hiss at you if you get near.
may I ask where you live? Roughly? The only reason is because of the turtle in your yard. I wonder if someone's pet. And it's interesting to me that he hisses. Thank you for sharing this interesting picture.
Thanks HippieChick and Laur. I'm in Jacksonville Fl. Hope it wasn't a pet, but I know they are fairly common in this area. Just hadn't seen one in the yard before.
