Want to thank all of you that have put my moth, I mean butterfly on the popular page today. As far as this dragonfly, first time I've seen one eating. It devoured that leaf in very short order. Didn't know that they were vegetarians. :-)
That is amazing! Superb shot! According to everything I've learnt about dragonflies they are very definitely carnivores! I wonder whether maybe what it is eating is some sort of bug that has wings that mimic a leaf?
