Well, it's obvious this barred owl does not. It seemed to be wide awake. From all of the noise along the trail today, guess it's no wonder it wasn't sleeping. Surprised it stayed there for as long as it did.
I love this - the closest I've come to an owl was hearing one last week - but could not find it anywhere (complicated by barbed wire fencing between me and his call). Fav
