Walking along the fence line, noticed this rather large grasshopper sitting up there. Just a couple of feet past him, was a blasted snake. Guess I'll really have to watch when I lean up against the fence.
Super focus on this guy - looks like he's ready to do a push up they his front legs are positioned. Terrific dof to show the textures - now about that snake - ugh! I try to remind myself to look ahead then walk and search. Got fairly close to one sunning right at the edge of the tall grass where I was hunting butterflies. How could I almost miss a 9 foot long snake!
@julienne1@terrinorthwind@milaniet Thanks Jullienne, Terri and Milanie. Yeah, Milanie, I try to watch out for the snakes, but fortunately, where I normally walk, it's pretty clear. My snake was only about 7 or 8 inches long and about the size of a pencil. I might post it in the next day or so, but haven't totally decided on it yet.
