I typically have two batteries fully charged. Today, I started out on a half charge and thought the other battery was fully charged. Made a few other shots, with the half charge and it went on down, so changed locations and then put in the other "charged" battery. Got this shot and one other and noticed the camera stopped focusing. Looked at the battery sign, and wouldn't you know it, that was a dead battery also. Forgot to charge it up the last time. Moral: Make sure your batteries are fully charged before starting out. :-(
