Was watching TV this evening just at dark and saw something fly across the window. So had to jump up and run outside to see what it was. Fortunately, as I got out there, I saw the Owl fly up into another tree. So had to run back in and get the camera and went back out. The Owl was still there. Tried a shot without flash, but was just too dark. So had to try flash and it actually worked pretty well. Didn't seem to really bother the Owl, but it didn't stay there much longer. Think it had spotted something else to go swooping down on.
