The Lady Pileated Sure Was Making a Lot of Noise!

Heard this one from quite a ways off. She was really going after that tree. Sounded like it was almost hollow, from the noise that it was making while she was pecking.

It really is amazing how noisy they can be - like an automated hammer or something. Like him with his setting.
