Just happened to see this guy as I was heading out to the park, so had to pull over and jump out for a few shots.

How can you pull over and jump out - I can't even open a door - quietly - without him flying away instantly and I'm still way far away! Like the searching alert look you caught.

@milaniet had to laugh at your comment. Coming home from a recent trip, driving some back roads and saw a big hawk on a telephone pole. Pulled over, quietly opened door, did not close the door, carefully took two steps away from the car and off he went!
