Haddon Hall by rjb71

Haddon Hall

We visited this rather splendid stately home hidden away near Bakewell Derbyshire. It breaths history and has been used several times in TV and films including the setting of Thornfield house in Jane Eyre (twice). It's probably not the most sensible place to visit when your other half has to use a wheel chair but we had a good time :)
How lucky am I to see these photos! Just wish I could be there seeing what you are!

I can imagination the terrain is a bit tricky there with a wheelchair but glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my favourites, I prefer it to the grander halls like Chatsworth. Lovely shot.
