The Sleeping Giant

The coal fired power station of Ratcliffe on Soar. This is one of the few coal fired power stations left in the UK and is due to be closed by 2025 at the latest. Therefore I was quite pleased to capture it making a little steam from the cooling towers when I passed it the other day.
