A Grand Day Out

Popped over to Peterborough cathedral to have a look at Tim Peakes space capsule hard to believe 3 people returned to earth in something so small. I also can't shake the feeling that it looks a little like the rocket in a Wallace and Gromit cartoon! I'm not sure about the purple and blue lighting they give it but I suppose you can't miss it!

I think I will have to read up on this. Why on display in a cathedral? Why the wild lighting? Just doesn't seem "cathedral" strict, staunch, protocol, religious like? Quite the surprise...LOL!
