Spent the afternoon at Bradgate Park near Leicester whilst all the photographers were crowded around one of them I spotted this majestic chap unoticed in the bracken. The sun was quite low at this point casting some nice golden tones on him. More to follow :)
Wonderful shot! @shepherdmanswife was up before dawn and at Bradgate Park by 7am to photograph deer rutting. Not a rut in sight, but she got some nice shots of deer at sunrise.
Oh how wonderful. Majestic is always the word for these fellas. I had never noticed before how well they camouflage with their surroundings at this time of year. Lovely shot.
