Another commemorative sculpture to mark the passing of 100 years since WW1. This one as you can see is at Burghley House near Stamford. It has the nice touch of real poppies growing at the base of the 'Tommy'. There but not There is the official title of these sculptures
The outline sculpture is a powerful image and the title is very evocative. Lovely to see it surrounded by real poppies which are now such an intrinsic part of Remembrance.
