100 Years

Popped up to Oakham Castle (it's really just a hall..)this morning to see the poppies again as the light was much better today. It doesn't open until 10.00 am but being local I know of a back way in so I was able to spend some time on my own with this memorial to the fallen of ww1. As the castle dates from 1280 and ww1 was 100 years ago I've also entered it for the weekly theme historical.
