Winter Maintenance

Popped into the BBMF visitors centre today at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. This is the Lancaster bomber PA474 Leader undergoing some TLC before next season. Our guide was an ex BBMF pilot who did an excellent job of explaining the history of the aircraft and the Battle of Britain flight. Well worth a visit
