Pretty Poison!

It's been raining today quite an unusual occurrence these days! Taken on my lunchtime walk this is the pretty flower of Belladonna or Deadly night shade plant. Eventually the flowers turn in to glossy black berries that are poisonous if eaten. The leaves and roots are also poisonous to humans but rabbits and cattle can eat them seemingly without issue.

I've never bothered to look at the flowers of this weed - they are actually quite interesting - or maybe it's just that your nice image has made them interesting... :)
