Took this whilst standing on top of a water fall that had run dry. I'm not honestly happy with it but the man crossing the bridge adds a little interest.
I think this could be great, it has a lot of interest and a lot of potential but I for me, a case of bad luck with the lighting? It's very dark, I can hardly see the man and bridge and a lot of the detail is lost in the shadow,
@roachling It was very harsh early afternoon sunshine so there is a lot of contrast between light and dark I have two other shots at different exposures so I might try a HDR and see if I can tease the detail out a bit more :)
I should have said, hope you didn't mind me being a bit critical, it was just as you said you weren't happy with it, I was kind of agreeing! I've just looked at it enlarged and it looks better on black :) I do think it was a well spotted shot and nicely composed, just a bit dark due to the light.
@roachling Please don't worry about critiquing Its nice to get some feed back and I will only get better if I listen to other photographers :) I may have another go and will tag you if I do :)
