Buchon 109 by rjb71

Buchon 109

I spent the day at Duxford for the practice displays for the weekends airshow . The weather was perfect and I took lots of shots which will take some time to work through. This shot stood out on first glance as it's un cropped and nicely fills the frame. I managed to get some reasonable prop blur as well. The Buchon is a Spanish version of the messerschmitt 109 used in the war by the Luftwaffe
Like that was it good!! You should try wales for low altitude flying-just awesome!!

@padlock Thanks :) Yes quite a bit of flying today I like the challenge of props as well. Wales would be good but finding the time is not so easy..

Nice clear shot. I agree that Wales is good for low flying planes, but it requires patience - the RAF doesnt always
deliver!

Nice capture! I haven't been to an air show for a good few years but I do enjoy them.

Great motion in the propellers...and the plane is so clear and "still" looking.

Super shot and I love the movement of the propellers.
