It was the last day of school today and we had our jubilee garden party - in the hall as the rain had poured down all day. My pin the tail on the corgi went down well, all the children had a go and I took a photo of the end result! We also had a best hat competition with a winner from each year group. I had to judge it with one of the governors and there were some fantastic hats so it was hard. This hat is the reception winner (age 4-5) and my favourite of all! I loved this one with the teapot and teacup, big ben, a crown with money for jewels and even a teabag and a custard cream!

I've had such a busy week, hardly any time to keep up here or with anything else and tomorrow we're going away for a few days to visit Dave's dad so I probably won't be able to comment or upload until Tuesday or Wednesday - though we are taking the netbook so I might pop in if I get chance!
That has is brilliant. Admission time... after seeing your corgi the other day, I mentioned it in Nursery and we played it yesterday at our party! Though due to shortness of time, our corgi was photocopied. See the queen has tails on her knees. :)

Nice to see some jubilee events. Collage is such a good way to share,
I checked my pic collage for the date and yes mine isn't there either, or the camera details.

@yotulip
yes, we did laugh at some of the tail placements! This was not an original idea, I think everyone is doing it this year!

@jennywren
Yes, I think I'll be using collage a bit more often as there are many days when I can't decide between a few photos. I don't really like this one, it's too small, but I only had a few photos from today.

A great collage. I'd never heard of using a corgi for pin the tail before you mentioned it - a great idea! Love the hats - good to see the children entering into the spirit of things.
