Under construction

A colony of wasps have been busy over the last few days building a nest in a bird box in our garden. It's getting a little bigger each day.

I love all creatures! I'm sure they're going to sting me before long, I was standing on a chair, right next to this one and a few angry ones did fly out and see me off shortly after. Still, it's a small price to pay to get up close!

@trinda Absolutely! If they had come into my bedroom or the kitchen and started building, I wouldn't destroy their nest! They're no trouble if you don't cause them any trouble :)
