Baby shieldbug

We had a lovely moorland walk this afternoon - we watched a hobby hunting for a while and then did a bit of grasshopper stalking and found several types of grasshopper (even had one jump on to my head, hehe!), some lovely green tiger beetles and a few baby heather shieldbugs, like this one which was, unsurprisingly, living amongst the heather.

I guess webbed knees would've been more accurate. I'm glad it's a normal looking hand tho :)
