Today I appreciated the sunshine for the brief time it lasted this morning :)
I've had a busy day (I didn't stop until 10pm as I had lots I needed to get done) so only managed to take one photo, when I stopped for a few minutes whilst travelling.
It's not a great photo, the sky is washed out due to the bright sunlight which was just on the right edge of this scene, but I thought I would have the opportunity to take other photos and then didn't - so this is the one and only shot I have for today, it will have to do! I did plan to take a few more photos from the point I took this one, but two cars came up behind me and I had to move along as I was blocking the road!
I was noticing the curves in the landscape, the colours and the shadows, and thinking how different this scene looks in each season. School is finished now for a couple of weeks but my holidays don't start until Monday really as I have two days with The Wildlife Trusts this weekend - I'm so looking forward to a lie in and a day at home on Monday :)
This is a great scene Louise. As you say the curves, shadows and different lines of colour are so attractive. I like the house and chimney and that line of trees from it. There is lots of light too. I think it was good to capture the scene regardless of the sky. Fav
