Another very light snowfall over night, so still lots of wintry scenes here. I made some bird food last night and this morning took it out to the garden and spread it between the feeders for the birds. I did take some photos of the snow, ice and frost today but I think this sparrow is my favourite!
Lovely shot, my birds have been feeding hard today. We don't get sparrows coming to the bird table. I think there must be to much for them to eat in the farm buildings.
@shirleybankfarm I watched for a while and was surprise that the sparrows completely ignored my food and just sat in the branches, where other species were straight in!
