Journeys

I'm taking part in Wild Arena's July Photo Challenge this month (or at least I'm going to see how far I get with it!) and today's theme was 'journeys'.

After school, I made a little rush boat and took it to the river, then sent the very little boat on a very big journey for today's photo!

@flowerfairyann I put my wellies on for this shot as I didn't feel like getting wet feet today, only to discover one welly suddenly has a hole in it! It seems it must have been punctured by something sharp recently as there's a little slit in the side of it :(

wonder where it went (or if it even got past those big boulders). (trying to say that I like the intrigue of the shot) What is it about wellies that they seem to be disposable commodities...
