As Tennyson said - "Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, it will be happier." 2016 wasn't good for me, a lot of things went wrong so hopefully 2017 will bring better things.
Started the year with a walk on Pendleton Moor and around Churn Clough Reservoir. A very cold and breezy day but one with sunshine and fine views. In the distance you can see Ingleborough and Pen y Ghent. They were snow topped this morning but less so when I took this photo a few hours later.
Lovely landscape Louise, here's hoping 2017 is much kinder to you. We have an interesting year ahead, lots of changes to come with kids at school...end of an era for both of them and there are big changes at work so who knows what to expect!
