What I read in February

Lots of quick reads this month (several aimed at children!), all very good except for After Me Comes the Flood which was disappointing and a bit odd.
That looks like a sunny read!

Just googled the top two books and Sky Song, and have bookmarked them. At the moment reading some Dutch literature, but after the book I'm reading, back to English.

@overalvandaan I love the Harry the Centipede books (there are three, starting with "Harry the Poisonous Centipede" - I bet your children would really enjoy them! I think you would love Sky Song, it's full of nature, adventure and magic :)

I have tried reading, but just can't get into it. I'll have read several lines maybe a page and it's just not sunk in so I have to go back and start again. I'm amazed at how many books you've read in just one month.

Just to let you know, I've almost finished Sky Song by Abi Elphinstone and loving it! Thanks so much for introducing her. I had this book for ages on my to be read pile and somehow it got pushed aside by other books. Have you read her other, earlier books, The Dreamsnatcher etc.?

@overalvandaan I'm glad you have enjoyed! I think that's the only book I've read by Abi Elphinstone so far, but I'd definitely like to read more.
