I was disappointed this snow didn't arrive earlier! I didn't get a snow day as it didn't snow overnight, this started mid morning and gave me a beautiful (and slow!) drive home. I also had a great moment, meeting a snipe as I was nearly home too, foraging I think at the side of the road. I got great views of it and it kept flying a little way ahead of me and landing again, then I caught up and so on! I've never seen a snipe on my journey to work before.
Interesting shot certainly looks snowy. We had quite a bit overnight but I had a customer coming up from Wales so I had to make the 27mile journey to meet him. It did take two attempts due to lorry's stuck on the hills.
Yep.started late..i was in Leek..but headed home..then we had it really later again later didn't we...great company on yourway home then! How good was that.
