A Knot of Toads

I've never seen so many toads in one place before! This pond must have contained a couple of hundred and was full of toad spawn!

This was taken on my new camera (after Thursday's mishap!)... I ordered a replacement on Thursday night and it arrived today - it's exactly the same camera I had before, a Nikon p900 as I've been been happy with it for the last 3 years and really, didn't have the time or inclination to look into getting a different camera.

Wow - that's amazing. I went looking in a pond yesterday that I know has had toads in for many springs but no sign at present. This is quite a moment you have happened upon!
