Ernie

Ernie came out to see us whilst we were eating dinner this evening and my camera just happened to be within reach. I noticed some of his facial spots have faded away leaving just that one large one, a beauty spot! He posed nicely for a photo.

@robz He's great! He's a Loggerhead Musk Turtle - probably aged about 40 now but we'll never know for certain. We took him 10 years ago - his previous owner didn't look after him properly and then, due to alcohol and depression, simply walked out of his home one day, leaving everything he owned behind including Ernie. We were offered him and I had to take him or he'd have ended up in a pet shop then then who knows where! He has a good home here :)
