See that is part of a Trilogy and Waterstones write a perfect successor to Philip Pullman’s The Dark Materials, which I loved.

@overalvandaan I've never read anything by Philip Pullman so can't compare. I'm really enjoying this series though. The first book (The Girl and the Nightingale) took me a good few pages to get into, they are a little slow to get going, but they are really good.
