Today was a lovely day off after working the last few weekends. We had family visiting this afternoon (they came to see the 'finished' house, five months after move in was the first weekend we could get together!).
We did a nice, five mile walk straight from the door, which included a quick pub stop, then came home and ate a delicious home made autumn curry (that's what I'm calling it - root veg and warm, aromatic spices), which was prepared last night after a day at work, all washed down with a bottle of champagne our visitors brought with them 🙂
