Met my boss at head office today, I'd gone down for a tour of our new classroom there, which is nearing completion (after so many delays, was due to be ready March 2019!!). Sadly, I'll not be working as we start to use it so I wanted to see it before I left.
I wasn't expecting a gift as I wasn't sure how many of my team know about the baby (only a few people knew at the time we got furloughed!) and of course I've not been working and won't be going back to the job since it was a temporary contract, but everyone had been told and they'd had a secret whatsapp group for a collection and messages for the card.
A lovely baby gift :) One blanket (very handy as I've only bought 2!) and the birds are the RSPB ones that make sounds.
