Week-long card tournament ended with our daughter taking home the first place trophy and the right to add her name to plack of honor. We take our "Oh, Hell" seriously!

Thanks, All. There are several versions of the game with the key difference centering on whether the number of tricks bid can or cannot equal the number of tricks available. The latter version lending credance to the name of "Oh, Hell!" Someone "goes down" on each hand, often the dealer who bids last and thus is often told what she can't bid.
