Sweat Bee or Sweet Bee!

What's in a name? This is a member of the genus Agapostemon in the family Halictidae. The common name for this family of bees is sweat bees, this is due to some of them being attracted to perspiration. I feel, given that many of them being brightly colored and often metallic green, sweet would be more apropo. Opinions?
