On Duty

I found a nesting Allen's hummingbird today, I think she's on eggs since she didn't move when I got within a couple of meters. Unfortunately I only pass by the nest once a week so I'll have limited photo opps but I plan to make the best of them. Now to find one closer to home.

I found a nest for hummingbirds last fall but after the winter it fell apart. I guess they must make new ones every year, do they usually go back to the same areas?
