Our son came to visit - and brought his drone. An amazing, noisy machine (that our dog hated!) that just gives such wonderful views of the whole block and its surrounding neighbours. An excellent record for tracking the revegetation of the block.
my dog really hates the noise too. Sometimes there is a group of enthusiasts down at our park having competitions. Great to be able to look down on your property though and I love your collage
@olivetreeann Hi Ann - I'm glad you liked the collage. It's amazing how many of Nathan's friends own one of these things - some of them use them in their jobs eg apparently they are big for wedding albums and real estate sales! The view from 150m was outstanding.
@dkbarnett Hi Delwyn- you are so correct with your perspective comment. We have a couple of big granite domes on our block - we have never really appreciated their size until we saw Nathan's video. So useful. Cheers
@granagringa It gave a great bird's eye view - and it's camera was pretty good too. I started these funny collages a a way to record more than 1 item for our records of the block. We are trying to revegetate it and we can show a particular area with what was flowering at a particular time. My program is useless for collages so I just make my own - that's why they sometimes look very amateurish - my daughter hates them!! LOL :)
@fbailey I think you're quite right there FB. There are already quite strict rules over here - height limitations etc. They could be a dreadful invasion of privacy too - the photos from a height hundreds of metre are very clear. Cheers Rob
