@casablanca@taffy@lightscamera Hi Casblanca, Taffy and Just me - sorry about the group reply but I did a bit of research on the Emu Bush and I thought you might all be interested. Apparently they grow in very poor conditions and the seeds are actually eaten by Emus who then help disperse them. They were also used quite extensively by aboriginal people - for burial and initiation ceremonies and also to treat some skin problems. Their flowers look a little like a fuchsia. There are over 220 species in Australia and over 180 of those are found only in Western Australia (which is famous for it's superb wildflowers). I'll post a photo of the funny little flower. I have never heard of an Emu Bush. Are the berries edible? Lovely colour.
