A dried arrangement of Australian native flowers created this burst of colours. This was also another experiment with the spot metering setting on my camera. I've chosen that as my focus for the open-ended week 5 in the 52week challenge.
@fotoblah Thanks for your comment and feedback - I found it all a bit tricky til I tried holding the camera still and moving my whole body in - worked a lot better!! Cheers Rob
@sarahlth Hi Sarah - I don't know which is worse - 5 weeks already gone from 2018 (they reckon time goes faster as you get older!) - or 47 more weeks to try to keep up! "Alternating rhythm with light and dark" next week - with the aim of creating depth in the image - sounds like this one needs a bit of thought! :)
I was going through the entries in the technique challenge and saw this and , of course, it's yours. I keep forgetting to view your "other" album. so I am missing a bunch of your shots...I'll to to catch up, but lately have only been doing a few for the days I'm on site!
@granagringa No worries Madelaine - a lot of them are just me playing around!! The zoom-burst technique is proving tricky for me - this one was ok - just held onto the camera and moved the whole body! LOL Will look forward to whatever you find time to do! Cheers Rob
