Quart Pot Creek ... by robz

Quart Pot Creek ...

This little creek runs through Stanthorpe. This is how it normally looks - quiet and demure. However, in fierce weather it has been known to rise up and devour houses and sheds and bridges...
Lovely moody feel to this shot

This shot is so atmospheric, it's as if it knows what you said and is lying in wait to spring up and sweep away some property again.........

@fbailey Hi FB - it's a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde creek - it's because it has a huge catchment area up in the N.P. mountains of the area. It goes right through town so it can be very destructive..... :)

@taffy Thanks Taffy - the creek goes right through town and is quite a feature - it has an associated walkway which stretches for several km. :)

Really like your PoV and how the light is brighter further up stream...really brings my eye in...so well done.

@granagringa I really appreciate your feedback here. I've been experimenting with the spot metering on my camera - this was one of the results, so your comment on the brightness further up the stream is much appreciated! :)
