OK - so yesterday I could do layers - to make lots of orange leaves appear (much more complicated than Digital Editions- but no doubt will become easier) - today I've forgotten how!! OhOh!! Much video watching coming up....
I admire your ability to try! I hardly ever alter my photographs, purely because its too hard and I get stressed! Enjoy the videos and I hope you remember how to do it!
@kgolab Thanks for your lovely comment Kabtaffy! It's very encouraging of you. I only have a very simple camera (fits in my pocket) so half the fun for me is playing with the images. Also, supposedly good for staving off dementia!! LOL Cheers Rob
@robz very simple camera's can capture stunning images too. For me it's all in the point of view taken. I love to watch and learn from others on who to look at things differently.
I see you still trying elements? And i agree with you... making a picture is step 1, than the editing starts :) Cant wait to see more of your experiments with editing...
@fbailey I'm sure you're right FB - it took 6 months to figure out how to use the old program - it had no handy tutorials though and no you with handy hints!!! The layers were quite easy at the time I did this but then we've been really busy with other stuff and by the next day I'd forgotten the sequence to use. Old age strikes again!! @robz If I get stuck on Elements, I turn to goid old Google:) In fact I tend to talk to Google about everything from natural flea treatments to growing mango trees from seed. Need to get out more!
@fbailey Playing with photos sure is a time waster - but so much fun! We have a few days spare coming up - hopefully I can check out lots of your hints and his tutorials then. :)
Ooops, I know where you are coming from there, I'll find some magic function and then promptly forget where it was. I just ordered Elements 11 after listening to @fbailey, I'm not sure if it was a good idea as I could very easily forget everything I've learnt in gimp!
@suzanne234 When you get it Suzanne (mine came from Ebay) it's a good idea to get the accompanying book (EBay again) and do download the free Nik filters, I use them all the time😊 Enjoy!
@suzanne234 Hi Suzanne- how good we've both gone for the same program at the same time. I might be able to annoy you sometimes instead of annoying FB all the time!! LOL Seriously though - I'm anticipating that it will be quite a while before I can do what I what on this - it took ages to figure out everything on my old program. Should be fun anyway!! Cheers Rob
