Sometimes life just hangs you out to dry......

This is a bit of a muck around idea - just to use as an image to keep the WWYD challenge thread alive.I think everything would have to be better than the way this turned out..... So WWYD?
Don't be shy - have some fun and see what turns up!! If you would like to enter the link is:

You are much too kind Taffy - this just kept getting worse and worse - until I gave up in disgust!! And had no time to try something else... Oh well - It would be great if you felt like having a look and a play.. Many thanks Cheers Rob

Hang in there folks.

This is kind of fun! I'm still trying to work out how to achieve a composite, no success yet but I enjoyed fiddling around with the image in other ways.

@casablanca Hi Casablanca - does your editing program let you do layers? Basically that's all I do but in a different way with my old program. If yours does layers you could try just using 2 layers for a start - so that's just one photo on one layer and something to go over or under it on another layer. Erase the bits you don't want on the top layer to let the bits on the bottom show through and then flatten it all down into 1 image. F.B. uses a lot of Gavin Hoey's videos (I think that's the right name) - and she uses P.S. Elements. I guess there would be similar things for your program? Good old Google!! - "How to do layers on ....program"?? Might be worth a go. But beware - it's very addictive - at least it is for me - probably a sign of some dreadful mental condition!!!! P.S. - I tried Elements and the hardest bit with the layers was figuring out how to get the photos you want into the same series of layers - no doubt it's easy once you know what you're doing LOL. :)

@robz Ah, that is so so helpful! Yes, the word "layers" is in there in the menu but I had not a clue what it meant! I shall explore when I have a moment, thank you!

@casablanca Have fun - if it doesn't drive you mad first!!!

Have you any ideas what you are going to do for this weeks 52 week challenge?
November 13th, 2018
@sarahlth Hi Sarah - it's the Golden Triangle idea isn't it? I had to Google it to see what it meant and it's actually pretty neat! I've had a go with the two lizard images and I think I have a landscape that shows it too. And it does definitely seem to give a better composition - you'll probably be like me and find that you automatically do the diagonal line in some of your photos and then sometimes even the other two out to the corners - even if only roughly. I think it was a good week for learning something. I'll look forward to yours. Cheers Rob

@sangwann Thank you Dione - just a bit of madness! :)

@robz looks like you have sorted it. I have no idea

@sarahlth Hi again Sarah - I just had a look at your project ( I hope you don't mind!) I think your windmill photo shows the Golden Triangles

The main image is the diagonal and then the wing on the windmill points at one corner and the heavy section points at the other corner. What do you think? :)

@sarahlth I'm sorry - I tried to link to your photo but it wouldn't let me. It's the windmill in October.

Thanks for the Follow-Swap, Rob! Don't know what I didn't pick up on that back when I was heading up the WWYD theme and came across your work back at that time!

Thanks for the reminder! We'll see what happens...

This is wonderful - rather surreal! So very creative and fun.
