It said "warmth" - this was hot!

Our hot,dry weather continues. This outside area is usually packed at lunchtime - today most people sat inside in the air-con.
"Hot" sounds pretty good right about now! Funny how our perspectives shift!

It does sound as though you have extreme heat at present. Sensible move to sit indoors!

Goodness, even Australians finding it hot - it must be boiling!!

Great shot for the challenge!

Even down here we're getting some real scorchers Rob. But because we're no far from the sea we also get some sea breezes most times. And, of course, this part of Oz has very changeable weather anyway. Love the shot, typical hot-day scene.

@casablanca Inland Victoria (where my daughter and son both live) have been having runs of days over 40 degrees C, and up to 45 (113 degrees F). Very punishing conditions.

@golftragic Ouch ouch ouch!!!

I know the feeling

@casablanca Not wrong!!! Forecast for Swan Hill (my son) today is 47!! Down here in this part of the world we're getting a cool change later today, but no relief north of the Divide, they're cooking.

@Weezilou Hi Louise - It is funny - but I think I'd swap your cold for some of the hot that outback areas are having at the moment. It's not too bad on the coast - but 5 days of over 45 deg C must be nearly impossible to live through. It's a dreadful worry for the future as the heat isn't being offset by any rain!

@rosie00 Hi Lesley - I shouldn't really whinge - it's not too bad near the coast. People inland are having a terrible time!

@casablanca It's woeful Casablanca - terribly worrying for the future!!

@golftragic Swan Hill at 47 is terrible - and with no rain in sight the whole picture becomes worse. I just wish that our pollies would wake up and start setting up some constructive measures - instead of carrying on about inconsequential rubbish. Too much to hope for I guess!
