Lee
There is an upside! at least you didn't have to hand wash them, then mangle each item =)

I quite agree, and a nice IR edit!

Welcome home! Loved what @gamelee said - I grew up with a twin tub and mangle!!

@elatedpixie Hi Phyl, Thank you for your interest and comment. I'm afraid i can't claim much credit for the colours etc in this - I took it with an IR camera and the outcome is often hard to predict. I do like it when the blues come out - just need to get better at controlling it. Cheers Rob

@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana - i appreciate your comment as I often wonder if people get sick of the IR images - but they are such fun to play with. Cheers Rob

@gilbertwood Hi Denise - thanks for your comment. Our farm was soldier settlement farm after WW1 - a lot of the fence posts and these old lines are from those days. I love them too. :)

@777margo WW1 vintage Margo - our little farm was a soldier settlement property - these were from those days.

@gamelee Gosh Lee - the poor woman who came to this property after WW1 probably did just that! I hadn't thought of that.

@casablanca Thanks Casablanca - it was a lovely short break - our Alex was 32 so it was her celebration weekend. After reading Lee's comment I realized that those lines probably did date back to mangles. Our little farm was a soldier settlement property after WW1. I'll think of that poor woman every time I use that line!

@craftymeg Thanks Margaret - the IR camera has been such a fun camera to play with. :)

@ulla Thanks Ulrika - the IR camera seems to present life differently. Always interesting to see what it does. :)

@cashep19 Thanks for your response Carrie. hwas taken with an IR camera - that's why it's got the blue highlights. :)

What is it about washing lines that they are such good subjects for the camera? Another great IR capture

@4rky Thanks again 4rky - I love our old clothes line - it has so much character. And the IR seems to bring out that vintage feel. I'm so pleased you liked this one. Cheers Rob
