These three were all growing near each other - they'd all caught a little pond of water - and they'd all been sampled by a hungry critter. (This is a composite to fit all 3 together)
What a fascinating image. What are they? At first they reminded me of sunflowers and then I thought not.... you have done a brilliant composite, I am in awe of your skills!
@casablanca Aww - thanks Casablanca! This was easy because they all had the same background . They were all actually brown fungi - but they look different with the reflections in their water puddles. Cheers Rob
