Lizard 2 by robz

Lizard 2

These are both for the 52 week challenge - week 46 - with the theme of "Golden Triangles" and their use in the composition of images. This is a new idea to me and involves the arrangement of the main points of interest along three individual imaginary lines. The first line is a diagonal, the second line drops from one corner down to the diagonal at 90deg, the third line drops down to the diagonal from the other corner, also at 90deg. Lizard 1 has only the diagonal, lizard two has more background which gives him the diagonal plus the suggestion of the other two lines along the edges of the rocks. I don't know if I'm imagining it but lizard 2 does seem to be a better composition? Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Cheers Rob
Great DOF. I think I like this one best. Not sure why!

I prefer lizard 1 for the eye and lizard 2 for the composition. Guess we cant always have everything, espcially with a nature shot.

@sarahlth Hi Sarah - I thought this one too - don't know if it is the other two lines being suggested by the edges of the rock?

@hermann Thanks Sally - he was at Dr Robert's Waterhole.

@rosie00 Thanks Lesley - maybe it is the edges of the rock hinting at the other two lines?

@nobled Yes - you've nailed what is happening Dorothy - I loved the eye in No 1 too. Thanks for your comment - much appreciated. Cheers Rob
