Heat wave

photo 112
LONG day at work, but so nice to come home and play outside with my little ones. Record heat today -- my car said it was 95 degrees (F) as I drove home. Henry and the boys were working up a sweat by the time I took this photo. Have I mentioned I love my Henry bug?! :)

@sanfil Thanks, Sandra. I'm biased, but he does give good face! :)

I can see why. He is precious. Looks like he is all boy! But I'll bet he sure loves his mama, too!:)

Looks like he's winding up for the pitch. This is one for the photo album for sure.

Great portrait! Love the expression on his face, the light, the colours, the bokeh!

Wow! I love that expression and if he gives that same look to young girls... they are going to melt all over the floor!!!

another wonderful one of Mr Henry, I feel a bit better now catching up on peoples photos, I have been a bit self absorbed lately!

Great shot! What lens?

@anzere03 must have been my 50 prime. After having some blurry portraits I started using a f stop of at least 2.5 or so, but I have since broken that rule if thumb, too. :)

I liked the bokeh and didn't realize you got the 50 very quicky after the camera. Your dad's influence? :-)
posted July 18th, 2012
@anzere03 actually, my das highly recommended the all in one lens. I bought the 50 mm at the same time I bought my camera because, after reading up on this site, I felt confident it was one I would really want. I was right, too. :)

@anzere03 I got the 18-200 a few weeks later, bought it used on craigslist.

@rockinrobyn smart move... Yes, I try to advocate it to friends who get a new DSLR but it is a hard sell. They love zooms and they don't get the advantage
posted July 18th, 2012
@rockinrobyn I have the 18-105 as my walkaround, and Tamron 28-75 2.8
