Enjoy hearing and watching several flocks of sandhills cranes fly right over our house this morning. I love to hear their loud, rattling bugle calls.

Lovely image Linda ...puts me in mind of the geese I have been going out to watch ... finding out, when I came home yesterday, that they fly right over my house on their way to roost ... never tire of watching them ... do these sandhill cranes fly in 'v's also?

@alijchapman yes, they form a vee for a while and then circle catching air currents and switch leaders.
