War Memorial, Gheluvelt Park, Worcester

Part of a circular First World War memorial sculpture. The different heights of the steel columns represent different campaigns and the height depicts the amount of soldiers killed, every millimetre equalling 50 casualties.
That has quite an impact

@4rky The tall one in the middle was Operation Michael, 16 day battle in the Somme, something like 38,000 British casualties on the first day...unimaginable.
